The Bodybarre Workout Programmes (BWP) are available to all dance/fitness centres throughout the world and are currently operating across Europe.
New and existing centres will benefit from these dance fitness programmes; transforming attendance and delivering fabulous results.
Are you ready?
The best teachers are those who are passionate about sharing their new found skills with overwhelming enthusiasm for the material, even if the level of material presented is basic. These workshops are a series of dance classes. It is training for those who already know how to teach group exercise classes and seek to learn how a teach the best choreographed alternative dance class possible.
Prerequisites:
Experience facilitating a formal exercise class for a group of five or more people.
A gym instructor Level 2 or equivalent.
On-going education:
Bodybarre provides on-going updated choreography in continued education workshops, so each instructor has the tools to keep their class fresh and unique. The on-going education workshops are released quarterly.

Hippest moves of Burlesque suitable for the non dancer, a light hearted workout
Learn a fun sexercise workout and by the end the attendee will have learned how to teach a safe and effective dance fitness class in a traditional Burlesque style. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This workshop will introduce the fitness professional to a sensual and seductive workout that celebrates the feminine form. Bodybarre instructors show the power of sexy stretches and simple sultry dance steps followed by the burlesque basics including the essential ‘bump n grind and shimmy’! A technique section is included with this course as well as a choreography section and we will teach a complete a choreographed Burlesque routine. We also teach the fitness professional to master the art of using props such as feathered fan, feathered boas and satin gloves. Facial expressions are essential for a fun Burlesque dance routine and will be practiced and demonstrated by your Bodybarre instructor! We will provide tips and secrets to teaching a fun and sexy class including how to get your juices flowing for a sensual warm up.
Boas, gloves and feathered fans will be provided for loan during the class.

Learn the basics of chair dancing as well as the secrets to teaching a fun and sexy class including how to work correct technique for safe and effective chair dance fitness. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This workshop will introduce the fitness professional to a saucy dance class incorporating the ‘core moves’ with a chair. The attendee will be guided through a series of chair warm-up moves, dance links plus toning and strengthening exercises. We will discuss creating choreography on, off and around the chair and choosing the right music. Following the exercise section of this class we will then teach a complete choreographed Chair Dance routine which has dance moves and elements inspired by Las Vegas Showgirls. Attitude is essential for a fun and energetic chair dance routine. Basic chair dancing steps, for example turning and moving around the chair, can be difficult to master however Bodybarre dance instructors will provide tips and tricks as well as teach some great practice exercises. Bodybarre also teach kicks and even chair dancing stomach exercises and by the end of the course the attendee will be able to choreograph a routine designed from the basic skills learned in this workshop.
Chairs will be provided for loan during the class.

Learn how to put the HOT into Pole Dance, a simple yet sizzling class. Easy to follow and fun to do dance with a focus on safe and correct technique, dancing in your high heeled shoes has never been such fun.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This workshop will introduce the fitness professional to a super sexy pole dance class incorporating easy to follow dance steps and floorwork.
The attendee will indulge in a pole and floor based warm-up exercises designed to sculpt the body and improve flexibility.
Following the warm-up the high heeled shoes are strapped on and you are introduced to the feel of the music chosen for the dance routine section of the class. With dance being the main focus of the class we will gradually build up a routine which is easy to follow and unleash the inner goddess as we move to the music. Learn how to offer your students a boost of self esteem and confidence with a class fuelled by fun.
Bodybarre dance instructors will provide tips on how to make this pole dance class accessible to the absolute pole beginner. Some very basic pole tricks are included in the choreography however the main focus in this class is pole dance and floorwork. This workshop will finish with a wind down stretch to leave you feeling invigorated.
